Bolt action. German military issue. WW2 era. 1944 dated receiver. byf code. (Mauser, Oberndorf) Blued finish. Wood stock, and handguard. 23.62" barrel. Steel , cupped. butt plate stamped "37". Hooded front sight. Cleaning rod present. All mismatched serial numbers except the bolt handle, which seems to be a re-stamp. Waffenamts present on bolt handle, trigger assembly, and rear sight. The rest have been machined off. "H" style barrel band. About 60% of finish remaining, with small scratches/rubs present. Handling/edge wear. Wood is good shape, with small dings/dents present. Number on stock unreadable. Action is smooth/tight. Bore is very dark/dirty with strong rifling. Original leather sling attached, with keeper stamped with "K" in circle. GPC< West Hurly, NY import marks on lower right barrel..
